[QUOTE=matthewmama]Dr Nanci Pittman – she is at Mount Sinai in NYC. She is GREAT. She is not that good at answering phone calls etc but once you see her, her office will fit you in if you need to see her + she put Matthew on the correct dose of Prilosec/Prevacid to start with…. so that is worth something!

I wish I saw this to begin with.
we went there with Noah and saw Dr. Benkov who is HIGHLY regarded, albeit for a consult and he said that the 7.5 of prevacid in addition to the zantac was high enough

Posts: 3Posted: Yesterday at 6:50pm Geisinger Clinic. Danville, PAThe doctor my son and I have seen here is Dr. Mahmoud Sabri
Pediatric Gastroenterologist. I have not been super happy with my infant sons care here and am currently switching to Childrens Hospital of Philadelphia.I have also gone to the feeding clinic associated with Geisinger at Janet Weis Childrens Hospital with minimal results. No help given regarding my sons allergies to milk and soy. They told me to feed him Pediasure, a milk based drink, as a supplement. This was only one of many things recommended at our visit that went against my sons allergies and feeding issues.

Schenectady countyNiskayuna, NY Dr. John Pramenkoreally listened to the symptoms, after 2 weeks trial on zantac, agreed to prevacid solutabs and looked at marcikids site during visit (per suggestion) and he really liked the site and prescribed the correct dose. (too bad insurance wont cover it agh!)PS these smileys are fun!!!May 31, 2011 at 2:16 pm #68467AnonymousInactiveCCMC GI group in Connecticut was terrible.
We drive to mass general now and they are great. A pain to drive to but great.
CCMC called my pediatrician and wanted to make a referral to DCF because I said how horrible feeding my baby was. Like it made me a bad mom because I hate trying to feed a baby that screams at the sight of a bottle.
In particular, stay away from Dr. Hyams or his Nurse Practitioner.
We really like Mass General though, and we see Dr. Fusanyan there. He’s pretty good. I think that whole practice is a lot better than CCMC.

the Good~ Dr Brian Morris ~ Oschner Hosp.He was very nice. Easy to talk to and really listened to what I had to say. Gave nexium.the BAD~ Dr Charles Otu-Nyarko ~ Children’s HospitalAbsolutely horrible. Treated me like I was crazy. Didnt like that I did my own research. Basically called me a bad mom and was mad my ped gave him zantac! I think I would have knocked him one, if he would have said “all babies have reflux” one more time. Don’t waste your time with this doctor.I Wouldn’t recommend any of the GI docs at Children’s Hospital.July 11, 2011 at 2:32 pm #68641AnonymousInactiveMoline Illinois/
Dr. Yaseen….here is the website. His nurse Carol is awesome and super helpful! Doctor listens to your concerns and is willing to work with you.August 23, 2011 at 4:19 pm #68919AnonymousInactiveLong Island, NY
Dr. Lavine at Cohen’s Children’s Hospital (Long Island Jewish Health System)
DO NOT GO TO HIM!
August 24, 2011 at 8:36 pm #68932AnonymousInactiveHartford County, Connecticut – Dr Sayej- Awful. Lacks knowledge, lacks experience and is not sympathetic.
Edit: Just read a few posts above me. Yes, Dr Sayej is part of CCMC’s group in Hartford and the entire group is bad. I’ve had bad experiences with nurses, staff, and other doctors too. Other moms have had similarly bad experiences with CCMC’s ped GI group.

Dr. Daniel Leung
Really liked him. Felt like he took the time to talk to me abput concerns of new medications. A little wary abput treatment plan, but we will try it.
August 25, 2011 at 6:08 pm #68945AnonymousInactiveDr Dadhania in Edison NJ and Dr Sinha in Livingston NJ…both are self proclaimed “conservative” and refuse to prescribe more than 7.5 mg of prevacid per day, citing it isnt FDA approved. Dr Sinha didn’t even examine the baby really. just felt around his belly and asked me questions. Useless, waste of time and a co pay, as expected!
They both tell me to switch formulas, even though I told them I have already tried. Pretty fed up with GIs in general. By the time we get this figured out, he would have grown out of it by then!
