or trying to eat again i will say. she has been taking a couple bite of food w/o too much fussiness and has been drinking on and off an ounce the neocate mix with pear juice we also found out she likes grapes (gave her a tiny piece to try and she was like “i want more”) we also introduced sweet potatoes today and after many diffrent faces and some gags she took 3 bites willingly. this is huge considering she was not taking a thing 3 days ago. we also started the periactin 3 days ago. maybe is working??

thanks for listening. i want to post the good news.

she is also 16,11 ounces and is 26 1/4 inches long. she went up to the 15 percentile from the 10%.

Hooray for Kendra!!!

I hope this is the beginning of great things for her!!

Is the pear juice to make the Neocate taste better, or for are you using it for constipation? (Just curious).

the Periactin is for allergies, but it also stimulate appetite.

The pear juice is for both, i have to cut back a little b/c she’s now pooping too much now i am trying to figure something else to put in. sounds gross, but trying the sweet potatos now. she is trying it, but not drinking too much.

Some moms use bananas to improve the taste of Neocate. Maybe you can alternate between bananas and pears and see if that helps with with the consitpation and frequent stools.

thanks for the idea. i’ll try that. She is still eating so much better now. Still not much Neoacte by mouth, but the bay food she is trying good. She also has been off the Periactin for two day snow and still eating ok. Iam hoping it will stay.

Thank you guys, you are so supportive. i’m sure have been blessed to find thi site. Lately, i have been thinking a lot about all the moms struggling with their poor eater children. especially our moms here. i pray for them everyday. it can be so hard.
