Hey All!

Laura suggested I try a new GI.

I have a problem though. The only medical coverage available to me is through Kaiser Permanente and I don’t have an option to choose my GI Specialist.

I’m wondering if anyone is familiar with a Kaiser GI Specialist that I may not be aware of in the Northern CA (Sacramento) area? Or, any other ideas on dealing with Kaiser and being more successful at influencing my dr? He doesn’t think my child’s problems are very severe, he is hesitant to experiment with meds other than Zantac or Prevacid (although will allow max dose) and refently he refused Carafate.

Try calling Dr Wong’s office in Santa Clara CA. This is not near you, but he is w/ Kaiser so perhaps he/his office can help you find someone in your area? He is recommended (got his recommondation from another site)…
