Hello all. I just wanted to update you and let you know that we had a baby boy 5 days ago. His name is Anthony and he was 8 lbs 11 oz and 21 1/2 in. long. He is “colicky” at the moment, but so far no real signs of reflux. Hopefullly it will miss this little guy.

Luke was 6 lb 10 oz and was 2 wks early and Justice was born on his due date and was 9 lb 8 oz. So compared to Justice, Anthony looks small to us. Everyone keeps saying he’s big though.April 27, 2009 at 3:03 pm #62306AnonymousInactiveCongratulations, Shelby!

May 3, 2009 at 6:04 pm #62379AnonymousInactivecongrats!!! hmmmm.. have u eleminayed dairy yet?? or are u waiting?
and i KNEW from the moment she was born! …that she had reflux… never slept flat… poop issues… and um…never slept! ;)… also a lot of hiccups…keep me updated… very interested to see how little anthony turns out!May 3, 2009 at 6:24 pm #62382AnonymousInactiveActually I didn’t do dairy the entire pregnancy. During the pregnancy I might have casein and whey occasionally, but 2 wks before he was born I didn’t even have that. I tryed everything you can think of during the pregnancy. I did a special vitamin, fish oil, no caffein, no high frutose corn syrup, no coffee or maybe 5 cups the whole pregnancy, no dairy, kinesology, acupuncture, and ate lots of greens everyday. I have also tryed kinesology on him since he has been born. The kinesologist said he has dairy and soy allergies that he cleared out and said he has a touch of reflux that he also cleared. However today Mr. Anthony is crying after eating, grunting, gagging, coughing, and spitting up lots after eating. I went out and got him so probiotics and made another appt. for the kinesologist. I think if the probiotics and kinesology don’t work, I am going to the dr. for some meds. I was hopeing to do things more natural, but have a feeling it won’t work. Justice’smom2009-05-03 18:25:26

May 5, 2009 at 10:41 am #62401AnonymousInactiveSorry you are possibly dealing with reflux Shelby. I agree, you are much better armed with knowledge this time around. Good luck & let us know how Anthony is doing.
If anyone is looking for hypo probiotics: Kirkman Labs ProBio Gold or Klaire Labs TherBiotic Infant formula. 🙂
