My daughter Chloe, is 17 month old, she used to have reflux when she was 4 month-6 month old, she was taking zantac for a month and then it cleared up.
But since 4 days ago, she’s starting to have this “episode” , everytime after eating or drinking her milk, she will have this loud burping and threw up her whole meal/milk.
And she would cough, gag and choking all day.
well, she’s a gagger and a puker, she can’t cry, laugh and run so hard, those will make her puke.
and she used to have problem with chunky food but now she’s starting to accept it without gagging.
but her regular ped said it is normal, some babies just born puker.
well, she never shown that she’s in pain, she sleeps through the night and eat a lot.
And she weight 29lbs at 17month.
But on Friday, I went to see the doctor, the doctor is not her regular ped (her regular ped is no longer working as physician) and she want to put her on prevacid.
but she’s not sure if Chloe has stomach virus or her reflux coming back.
Her diet doesn’t change at all this past 4 months.
She doesn’t have any allergy and a good eater.
But to see her like this, makes me worry.
She would threw up every feeding and coughing all day now although today, she’s not threw up her entire meal.
I don’t know!
Can someone help me?
