I know you wrote this a while ago….but I think really anything is possible with food problems. Some kids are intolerant of rice, which the docs and everyone else seems to think is nearly impossible. I would think that possibly some kids are so sensitive to soy that even soy oil is not okay for them. When we first realized Lucas was MSPI, I took all dairy and soy out of our diets, including soy lecithin (which is in nearly everything!). I was completely paranoid about it, and then when I finally started having things with soy lecithin in it he was the same, at least he didn’t get worse. I really didn’t do the margarine thing cause I had a hard time finding one that I felt okay about, I just switched over to using olive oil and vegetable oil for everything and skipped the worry about margarine.
