Improvement??

DAY 5 on Zegerid

I don’t want to speak to soon, but I can’t help myself because I’m happy. I knew it was a different day when Cole took 2.5oz with his 1st bottle of the morning and didn’t fuss or arch. He took awhile, but laid calmly in my arms sucking slowly.

He took nothing less than 2.5oz all day long!! I couldn’t believe it, no 0.5oz to 3 sips and I’m done with this bottle. He also took 5oz after an afternoon nap. Now that is unheard of! He had 18oz total before he retired for the night, that is more than he had in 24hours yesterday.

I know that this may be just a fluke, but I still wanted to share a good day with you all. I want to extend my appreciation to the sweet mothers that have been helping me. I have no one here that understands this nor will condone the medication dosing/mixture, including my spouse. This means more to me than you will ever know.

Oh Susan that’s wonderful! I remember the first time Paige drank 5 oz in one stretch without crying, arching, fussing, refusing, etc. I was so excited I had to phone my husband at work just to tell him! I hope Cole keeps on having comfortable feedings, and good days! Way to go!

Wondeful news!!! That is so great! I am thrilled for you! I still remember Addy’s first day of actually eating more than a few sips at a time!!!! YAY!!!!

YAHOOOOOO!!!!! I just PMed you to find out how he was doing because I hadn’t gotten to this post yet. I am SOOOOO glad to hear this. I really hope that it is only the first of MANY great, great days for you all. WONDERFUL!!!!!
