Infantreflux.org | I just don't get it

We took Cooper to the doc today b/c of a runny nose/congestion (2wks or more) and a cough that just started Saturday night. Well guess what he has an ear infection!!! No signs what so ever… no fever, no ear pulling, no fussy eating, no nothing… What in the world. I guess I should be greatful. This is only our 2nd one the last being I think May or June, but where were the signs?? I am just baffeled and wanted to let all the other moms with los with ear infections know that they don’t always show the signs.

Oh no! Sorry to hear it. We never had signs either… just went to the doc because she was sick, and he saw that her ears were infected.

We have had continued ear infections with tubes in Owen, uggh!! But Griffin had a double ear infection last month and never said a word about not feeling good. I took him to the doc b/c of a cough and he had pneumonia.

Neither of my girls have ever shown any signs of their multiple ear infections except crankiness. Almost every time they got one they were diagnosed because I took them to the doctor for some other reason.
