i always heard it was boys who walked sooner than girls. hmmm.my little guy crawled at 6.5 months and walked at 9.5 months.

I also heard it’s boys that as a whole acquire their mobility skills sooner, and girls that talk sooner. I think it’s probably an individual thing. I did notice with Sarah that she was a slow crawler, slow walker, and an early talker. Hailey was on the slow side with everything, but once we got her hearing issue sorted out, her speech took off.

Enjoy the walking! It’s so much fun when they start walking around. Somehow they start to seem like real people.

Just like everything else, it’s not a boy girl thing y’all (the Texas in me coming out here) Some babies are just ready earlier than others. None of my boys have crawled, walked, etc. early, but they all talked early. They’re all so different, aren’t they?

I think that’s what makes parenting so amazing!… I love watching them grow and acquire new skills and become their own little people.
