Andy has a stomach virus i guess since he has vomited everything today. He has no other symptoms(no cough, runny nose,no congestion, no fever or high temp, no diarrhea!) but when i called the ped GI’s office as well as the ped’s office they both said that it is likely a tummy virus since it seems a few other moms have called in who had kids with no other symptoms.
I guess my sadness really hit when my baby was crying for milk but i couldn’t give him any. He didn’t want the diluted fruit syrup that the nurses advised i give him. He didn’t want water. I lost it. I cried right with him.
You know with all of the pain he has been through and even the anesthesia from procedures nothing has made me cry the most except for when i have to refuse him food. It absolutely hits a most primal instinct as a mommy to not be able to give him the basic needs.
Of course he looks fine and is rolling around with his daddy right now. I am just so worn from his rebound reflux, the hernia, the restrictive diet, the constant vigilance to make sure my memory impaired husband doesn’t feed him the wrong thing.
I hate viruses! Should be an interesting night tonight. I am sure he will be hungry and scream his head off when all i can offer is water. I just need this to pass through his system fast. Super fast.

Poor little guy. I hate viruses, too. They make me so angry. 
You can’t take your kids anywhere without the risk of them picking up some lously virus to make your’s and their life miserable for a while.
