That FINALLY, at least for now, I have my happy little boy that I know was somewhere inside that hurting little baby………..
The Gentlease seems to be sitting well, his spitting up has decreased, the bottle strike seems to be over (although he wants NOTHING to do with the playtex bottles, and is learning how to control the speed of the seems very fast, slow flow nipples on the gerber clear view bottles) taking the bottle well, eating 6oz a feed, smiling and cooing!
The pharmacist called this AM to see how the new, increased dose of Ranitidine was working, and all I could say to her is that it seems to be, at least for now!
Don’t get me wrong, he still has his fussy periods, I mean, he is just a baby. But they are what I would call “normal” fussiness. He certainly lets off alot of wind though, and trust me, he could clear a room………………hahaha.
His eating has fallen into somewhat of a routine, instead of wanting to eat every 2.5-3 hours, he is going closer to every 3.5-4 hours, which is great!
Even if it is only for a month like this, I will be happy. Day by day. And today is a happy day!
You guys are wonderful with all your knowledge and support and I know that this Reflux journey is not over, but for now, things seem under control!
