How much is reasonable…

…for a gently used Tucker Sling? Not the wedge & sling, but the crib mattress one?

I have found one locally, gently used, but I have no idea how much they retail for originally…but it seems that for that particular one, which is just fabric (correct me if I’m wrong) that $50 is a pretty steep price?

I’m watching 2 wedge & sling combo’s on eBay right now but I’d have to pay shipping on them as well, and obviously if this one is local then I wouldn’t have to pay shipping. There aren’t any auctions for just the sling…

They are ridiculously expensive. I couldn’t believe the prices either! I think they are around $50 for a brand new one, so that definitely seems expensive for a used one. I lucked out and got a gently used one for free from another member here, but I looked forever on eBay before that. In my opinion, I don’t think you really need the wedge. We just roll up a big quilt and put it under one end of Bryce’s mattress, then put the sling on the mattress… it’s worked great. Good luck finding a cheaper sling!

Oh… I forgot… also try searching for “Danny Sling”. That’s actually the one we’re using. Same idea.

I don’t know why they cost so much. I’d also opt out of the wedge and elevate the mattress on your own. Maybe someone on here has one they’d sell.

how does Bryce do with his buttton and the sling? iam not sure if bothers kednra or not. she doesn’t cry as in pain, but she has been so whining lately that if she makes a whine, i think ishe might be hurting.

Hi Leo,
Bryce does great with his sling. It doesn’t bother his tube at all. The slings been nice with the continuous night feeds because we don’t have to worry about him pulling on it at night or moving around too much with the extension on. I hope the sling isn’t what’s bothering Kendra. It’s always so hard to pinpoint exactly what’s bothering them!
