Yes, he is liking solids… but remember, he does not take the bottle anymore, so unfortunately a few bites of solids does not really constitute a meal… so i think the Gtube will be inevitable.

Also, he is rolling like crazy in his crib now and takes off his NG tube all the time just by rubbing his face down on mattress!! His cheeks are so red from it that i think that the next time he pulls out his tube i am going to call the doctor and tell him it is going to have to be the Gtube

Thais, I’m sorry to hear that. I forgot that Matthew doesn’t take the bottle anymore. I’ve heard that for babies Matthew’s age, they often find the g-tube more comfortable, but I really think it probably depends on the baby. Good luck. I hope things turn around for you guys soon.
