Hi im Renee and I have 4 wonder boys …Blake my 11 yr old who has GERD , Warren my 9yr old , Spencer my 5 yr old who was able to become med free at the age of 3 !! And then my now almost 6 week old son Parker .. and well im just not sure whats going on with him =(…

So sorry ! Its been hard adjusting to life with 4 kids ! My lo was diagnosed with MSPI , Which my almost 6 yr old had as well … There is no reflux other then that of a happy spitter ! Ive been able to cut milk and soy out of my diet COMPLETELY as even the milk and soy within shots and other meds seem to effect him =( . While i havent posted much i have used the recipe board for food ideas ! And ive also linked many other mamas to this board for the same reason ! The Ped Dr is hoping Parker will out grow his MSPI like his older brother .. however until then ive been advised to keep nursing and to delay solids until after 6 months .

can you write a little blurb about how you cut things out of your diet- what you did first- Total Elimination Diet or just started w/ all milk & soy?

What did you go by? Gas and diapers? Fussiness, too? If you’d just write a little ‘something’ to help a mother new to all of this- to encourage her not to quit breastfeeding, etc. Also: was diet enough for you/your baby? Or did you try meds, too?

I will try and set down tonight and start writing =) And im just glad i found this site .. it helped answer a ton of questions even though i didnt “post” often .. just reading from others really helped me ! Is there a certain “area” you would like for me to use ?

thanks! for instance, if following the links/posts that I provided from Erin really helped, or la leche helped, or a lactation consultant helped (and what did NOT help, too)…

did you find a dr willing to work with you? how? who?

who was not a helpful dr?

did meds help? did you try/are you using probiotics and/or digestive enzymes? if so, what brands?

what helped keep you (somewhat, HA!) sane througout all of this?

do you baby wear? what carrier do you like? what sites helped you?
