I was sent here from Windsorpeak.com, finally registered today when I decided I need to start the TED diet.
My baby boy is 4.5 months old. I also have sweet twin girls who are almost 6 years old.
I am glad to have this place as a resource. I feel like I’ve been asking all the wrong people for help for the last 3 months and I’m hoping to finally make some progress.

Well, I planned to do TED but copped out after one morning of no coffee. I felt like I had the flu and I decided I just couldn’t cope at that moment. So I set up an appointment with an alternative health place…they do LAET among other things (I’m sure most people think LAET is crazy but my family has had good results from this practice). Anyway, she suggested I go grain-free and egg-free and gave me a probiotic. She recommended mixing a little water with it and inserting rectally with a tiny little syringe (lubricated with coconut oil). That way the probiotic goes right to where it is most needed. So I have been doing that for the last 10 days and haven’t really seen an improvement. He actually had some tiny specks of visible blood today. But he is having such frequent bowel movements that I can’t imagine how any irritations would heal anyway. I went ahead and asked for a referral to the gastrointerologist but I’m kind of torn about whether it’s necessary. I would like to go back to the natural place but it is out of town. I was heading there on Friday and my van broke down. Meanwhile I am really hungry so I’m considering adding something back in.

I know of many mothers and children including me and mine that have been helped tremendously from the probiotic/enzyme supplement called Digestive Health from Core Health Products/ What kind of probiotics are you using?
If you would take digestive enzymes every time you eat it could help your milk to have the proteins in it broken down so that it would be easy for your baby to digest and therefore he wouldn’t have so many problems. Happy Mom2012-09-26 03:20:06
