UUGGHH!!!! We had our worst night in months last night. What makes this worse is that I have to work today and Cooper will not sleep for his daddy so I was up from 11p-1:30a and then again from 4a-4:30 when I brought him to bed with us and then he was up again at 5:15 (I got him back to sleep for about 20 min) and then up for the day at 5:50… which is horrible since the time change is tonight and we were already freaking about that. I think it is teeth, but nothing helped last night. We gave him teething tablets, gas drops, motrin, benadryl and a bottle and all I got was 2.5hrs from 1:30-4, he did sleep from 8:30 til 11 but other than that he was up most of the night…..I don’t know if anyone has any suggestions or just moral support, but I am half asleep and now I have to go to work which means he won’t nap until I get home which may be his bedtime and when he doesn’t nap during the day his night sleep his horrible…… We weren’t successful at trying to push his bedtime back for the time change so I am so freaked about what tonight and the next several nights will hold….. HELP give me some peace of mind…. Sorry if this doesn’t make sense, I think I got maybe 4hrs of sleep last night.

Sometimes Sarah would teethe and NOTHING would help her through it. I feel for you! I’m dreading the time change tonight as well. Here’s hoping for an easy day at work today and a smoooooooooth transition through the time change for you!!!
BIG HUGS!
November 3, 2007 at 9:24 am #44938AnonymousInactiveAll I can offer is a big hug an a cup of caffeine…..AIden is about your son’s age and has never slept for more than 2 hours straight…If I get 4 hrs total a night that is a “good night sleep” for me. SO I feel your pain and your heavy eyelids too, and I hope for sleep for all us moms to poor sleeper’s for whatever the reason.
hug to you!November 5, 2007 at 4:39 am #44996AnonymousInactiveI hope that the next night is/was better. It is so hard to go to work the next day with so little sleep. All I can say in hope is that Alana’s sleep was so much better after she was 12 months. I went from about 3-4 get ups a night to none. I will send that wish to you.

November 5, 2007 at 2:45 pm #45027AnonymousInactiveIt must have been teething. I think I feel a tooth popping through. Saturday night was better and last night was pretty much back to normal but we did give him benadryl b/c he is so congested… I just hope this passes soon. Now that we don’t have the cold meds on the market I am sick of sitting in a steamy bathroom before naps and bedtime.
