My poor boy is beginning to whimper and cry again while having his bottle. I can see his first 2 teeth coming in (slowly) on the bottom. Have any of you had fussing or crying when eating due to teething? Or does this sound like returning reflux pain?? HELP!

A lot of people mention reflux flare ups big time during teething. Try some mylanta or zantac if you have any…see if that helps. Also the Hylands Teething Tablets are supposed to be very helpful. You can get them at walgreens.

Yes I have seen many times that reflux worsens when they are teething. Anyone have experience with this? Would a flare up cause him to cry again during feedings?? I am so worried that this is going to lead to him refusing to eat.

Since he has silent reflux I don’t know how often he is refluxing? There are signs but it is not as obvious as spitting up.

yes teething can be a pain for everyone involved…

try rubbing some benedryl on his gums- the excess saliva/drool from teething is full of histamines and benedryl is an antihistimine.

we also gave hyland teething tablets…
