So I’ve been on TED for 3.5 weeks now. We started due to my lo’s chronic severe nasal congestion, mild eczema, and brownish-yellow and green mucousy poops. All seemed to be going well, by about 2 weeks in his congestion was about 98% improved, no eczema, and poops were turning yellow with very minimal mucous. So…. I thought I would try to add a food back in and unfortunately selected avocado, and more unfortuately so enchanted was I with the taste of a new food, I ate 3 of them in about 18hrs. That evening when I got home from work, he had a big giant green mucousy poop with flecks of blood. It’s been a week now and his poops are still green, mucousy and occasional fleck of blood. What now???? Is he sensitized to something in my regular TED diet now or still recovering from the avocado incident?? I have no idea where to go from here and am a little down and out. Went to peds GI last week who of course suggested he just start Neocate. We had horrible luck with Neocate with our first lo, and I still am finding it hard to believe that something with corn syrup as the primary ingredient is better for my baby. Help!

Yes, it can take a while, so I would stick with what was working before and just hang in there a bit longer. Do you see it getting any better?
