get to another ped GI –
if she’s not seeing a ped GI, DEMAND ONE bcse she’s been hospitalized!
find out when the PED GI is on call at the hospital and GO THEN & if you need to, get
another opinion!
if the ‘system’ is giving you a hard time, DEMAND a Guardian Ad Litum!
If you have one, call her/him EVERY.DAY.
This baby needs medical attention!
what formula is it? I would at this point TELL dr to RX neocate!
I think I recall seing that she’s taking nutrimigen w/ rice? I’d STOP the rice! her system is sensitive as it is…
I would also TELL dr to RX carafate – this is a ‘band-aid’ med – it’s not for long term use- but it coats the esophogus…
I would also TELL the dr to INCREASE PPI dose!
read all you can. Sandifer’s will stop w/ proper PPI dose!
give the neocate two weeks
unfortunately, every change can take up to 2 weeks- same goes for switching meds-
hang in there & fight for that baby!
