Thank Goodness we got the referral. I really wasn’t too sure the Ped. was going to go through with it…BUT…She did. So, I was able to call and schedule Averi’s appt. It’s Monday the 11th. That was MUCH sooner than what I had expected. I’m glad though, we can see what the Ped. Allergist says and go from there. Monday might not be any testing, just an initial consult. So, we’ll see. I guess they decide once you get there when they’ll test and what tests they’ll do. Has anyone had any experience with Dr. Burton Moss out of Norfolk? He’s associated with CHKD, but we’ll be going to one of the satellite offices. Also, they test infants all the time and had absolutley NO problems seeing Averi given that she’s only 6 months old. That was a huge weight off my shoulders. I hope we can get some info. from seeing the allergist and know where to go from there. So far, Averi’s new prescription hasn’t been doing much. So, I figured, given everything she’s going through, this might be the next best step. Just wanted to update everyone!
