Hello ladies,

This just never seems to end. My daughter has been doing great in the sense that she eats well now and doesnt squirm and scream during feeds (thats the meds I figure) but she still screams a lot during the day, is very gassy again, we go through gas drops like crazy. She has to work so hard to get runny mucousy poops out, and she used to go 3-4 times a day now were are lucky if its one — she doesnt sleep well again….argh! I like my dr, but am irritated with him right now since he wont switch her to neocate without the ped GI seeing her, (which isnt until Dec) I CANNOT deal with that…so I ordered some online…is there anyway I can get it from a pharmacy without an RX? and how did you guys get your Rx’s –did any of you demand it?

I dont get it cuz my dr knows we have protein intolerances in my family….I cant do milk, my son cant do gluten….argh. I just want to call my dr and let him hear her….

That’s really rediculous that he won’t give you a prescription for Neocate. Especially considering your family history. I’d be looking for another doctor.

Sorry, I don’t know much about how to get Neocate. Maybe the other mom’s here can help with that.

Perhaps after a trial period the doc will give you a script if she does well on it.

You don’t need a prescription to get Neocate. If you want insurance to pay for it you will need a prescription for them. I know someone from ebay who sales it and I trust him very much. There are other moms on here who have bought Neocate from him. If you PM me I will give you his email address. It sure is cheaper than buying it directly from SHS.

just have your pharmacy order neocate. you dont need an Rx unless insurance is paying for it.

I never needed a script to order the neocate from the pharmacy, but like the other ladies said, if you want the insurance to pay for it, then you probably will need one.
