Gabriel has now graduated up to the third percentile in weight. He weighs 17 lbs 12 oz and is 13 months old. I am so relieved that he is now gaining weight I want to scream!!! Apparently the combination of rice milk, chocolate syrup, flaxseed oil, Duocal, and Alimientum is a winner! He is also feeding himself really independently . Emmy2006-2-12 22:24:15

Emmy, glad to hear that he’s doing well!! Good news! I was just wondering if you combine all those things together in his bottle? Where do you put the flax seed oil? I wanted to try and add some to Hailey’s formula, but I’m concerned about aspiration. s&h’s mum2006-2-13 9:37:1

That is wonderful news!!!! You should have a little party for yourself because he wouldn’t be gaining if you weren’t working soooo hard for him.

How much flax seed oil are you giving him. WE tried it briefly but I think it was upsetting MAtthew’s tummy. Did your doc suggest it or did you get that idea from the boards?
