Fussy when i lay him down?

Ok ive been posting questions is other fields but dont get a response from them like i do from you ladies…

Heres my deal my bubs is soooooooooooooo tired but when i lay him down he wants to have something putting pressure on his binkie, IE: a baby pillow its firm and i know they dont recommend a pillow but hes on a thing to stop him from flipping over so theres no riskk… Although hes starting to roll now and i want to remove the pillow and he wont go to sleep without something putting pressure on his binkie ( hes always been that way) how or what can i do to give him the feeling of pressure on his binking….. id like to remove the pillow

I personally would not put a pillow near my baby’s face…that’s just me. I did however turn to tummy sleeping very early on.

You might want to try tummy sleeping?

This is from the American Academy of Pediatrics & how they recommend that tummy sleeping is best for GERD babies.

BEANIE BABY: for day time naps I suggest this: Try putting her on her tummy & put a beanie baby on her back for 2 reasons- to see that she’s breathing (the beanie baby will go up & down)

& for the weight- put your hand on her back & then slowly leave it & the beanie baby is there instead…

Yes im sorry i do mean pacifier…and thanks for you suggestions but unfortunatly that wont work he lays on his back he dont like his tummy… any suggestions for pressure applied to the pacifier while laying on your back..

We called the pacifier a binky also. I just wanted to make sure. My son also liked having the pressure and he also layed on his back. That is why we started using the cloth diaper through the ring. I think the link I suggested also, the little doggie might add some pressure. I’m not certain though since I’ve never used it. Oh, something else we did is use one of those wedges they sleep btwn and we would roll his head to the side and that wedge would put pressure on his binky also. I’m not sure why my little guy like the pressure, but like yours he did. It was almost as if he just couldn’t keep it in himself. The good thing about using the cloth diaper also is that once you decide to take the pacifier away they still have the cloth diaper they can hold onto.

I was wondering how you mean you used a cloth diaper? Wouldn’t that be sorta in his face? I’m just curious cause I have the same problem but we use the soothie’s so there is no hole.

The cloth diaper was one of those gauze types. It was never in his face because it was through the hole in a very long u shape if that makes any sense and it was laying on his chest. It’s probably something you would want to experiment with while your with your baby. I hope that helps. I still don’t understand why my lo couldn’t hold the pacifier on his own.
