Fun at Baby Class!

Well we ventured out to our first ever baby class today and it was
actually GREAT! I was so pleasantly surprised. I was worried this
morning when Marisa woke up way early at 5am but she managed to fall
back asleep from 5:50-6:45 and also take a nap before the class. We
went with two neighbors with babies about a month younger than Marisa –
it was a music and movement class – songs, shakers, scarves, bubbles,
that sort of thing. About 15-20 babies 4-12 months. She did so well and
really had fun and enjoyed singing with me and looking at all the
babies and eating the maraca and was fascinated by the bubbles. She
even finished her bottle at the end of class – and she normally never
eats with so much distraction!

We walked home and I got her into crib… Hopefully I don’t pay for it
later with an overtired baby but even if so it was fun for both of us
and worth it.

And this is my first posting in this section! Of course things won’t be so rosy after her 6-month shots tomorrow, but…

Laura – you’ll be happy to know that I took her in the hotsling (on my
hip) instead of in stroller and she loved it. I probably should have
gotten a size 3 instead of 2 though…

Yay for babyclasses!!! I loved getting out with Jonah!

and yay for babywearing!!!

(I just ordered a hotsling size 3, the zoie print…dh says I want this baby so I can have more carriers, lol!)

That is so great. I took Tyler to swimming lessons today. I think it is great to take them out to something that is not a doctors appointment, hospital, tests etc, makes you feel more normal!
