Fortunately at that age, they are not grabbing and putting toys in their mouths like when they sit up and crawl, etc,, so as long as they have good handwashing practice, you just might be fine in the RSV dept, so hang in there.
Also, it is really hard to leave them, but you do what you have to, and that does not make you a mom who should feel guilty. If you need to buy formula, and food, and put a roof over your babie’s heads, etc… so all of that is very important, too! Hang in there! Daycare can be really stimulating and educational with all the different faces, and activities, etc… It can be great for her development socially, etc… Don’t feel bad! You are a great mommy and we all wish we were independently wealthy so we didn’t have to leave them with anyone, but she will do great!!!
Hang in there! and maybe call your doc and ask about the RSV exposure? Maybe they will put her on preventative antibiotics, or they may put your mind at ease that she may be in very low risk as they are probably not sharing sheets, blankets, bottles, etc….
