Eczema green poo

Hello there,

I’ve not been on the boards for a while b/c I *thought* DD was over her dairy allergy.

She stopped getting hives & a rash and her poops were no longer mucousy.

However, she has had terrible eczema & green poos lateley. The little prickly rash is back on her face too. Her regular pedi said “oh it’s just a baby rash” and not to worry about it.

I think it has something to do w/ the milk. She is still allergic to soy that is for sure.

Can a dairy allergy come back after it seems to have left? TIA

I would think so bcse maybe it didn’t leave? meaning maybe you cut it out of her diet, then when you added it back in it took time to build up again and now it’s time to clear our her system again? I think that’s what I would do- eliminate milk for 2 weeks and see what happens. if poo & skin get better then stick to no milk for a while and then try adding back in ‘hidden’ dairy for 2 weeks & see what happens…

ETA: Just wanted to say thanks again. I’m sure now it’s the soy. Guess we stay clear for a while.

I just can NOT get rid of the scaly rash on her legs!
