Hello all….First off, thank you all sooo much for all the info! You guys are awesome!
I’ve been posting about my baby who started Neocate 10 days ago, and was really miserable. Well, he had a couple of pretty good days in there, but now it seems we are regressing. Some strange things have been going on with his stools and I’m wondering if he could be constipated? Since starting the Neocate, he has had two fairly substantial poops a day. And over the last few days they were almost starting to seem like ‘normal’ Neocate poops. Then, over the last 24 hours he has been really uncomfortable again and has had 3 little ‘squirts’ of nothing much. Is it possible, the ‘squirts’ are coming from the remaining colitis in the bowels, but that the Neocate is starting to work and therefore, constipating him at the same time? I’m really trying to hold out to see if things are going to get better on the Neocate, but I’m getting impatient.
Any ideas?
