I would definitely keep up with the Zantac until the Prevacid kicks in.
Otherwise it’s like she’s on no meds at all. Just be sure to space them
out correctly – Laura has info I think on this in her intro?
My son was also diagnosed with silent reflux. The zantac did nothing for us however when Michael started prevacid he started doing great. Michael was the opposite, he was a comfort eater. He ate every 20-30 minutes around the clock. When we got on the prevacid he began eating on a more normal schedule. We give him fifteen mgs. He was 18 lbs when he started the current regiment. We have the prevacid in a capsule form. We break open the pill and pour half the beads on a baby spoon of applesauce in the am and then the other half in the pm. This way he is taking the full fifteen everyday. I tend to try to give him a little more on the capsule at night as that is his worst time. Good luck
