So the more I read the more I realize that some things that have happened may be related to the reflux. My daughter was just a few weeks old when the first episode happened and we have only had a few episodes since then. She woke up out of a deep sleep gasping for breath with foam and bubbles coming out of her mouth. She was stiffened up with her eyes rolling back into her head. She would let out a high pitched scream and then would gasp for air. This went on for about a minute or two until I eventually calmed her down. We rushed her to the hospital down the street even though she seemed to be better. They didn’t really do much, just dismissed it as a choking episode. I told my ped about it who decided to send her for an eeg to check and see if it was a seizure which it wasnt. Anywho we have seen a couple more of these episodes since then, not nearly as bad as the first couple. Still really scary though. Could this have been apnea or is she just reluxing and choking? Anybody had any similiar episodes and gotten any clear answers as to why it was happening and what it was?
