xoxox~lauraOctober 16, 2011 at 7:32 pm #69226AnonymousInactiveHey Laura! Yes I still have an email associated to this thread. Although Kayleigh still has reflux I rarely come here anymore because of her age but I do steer people here if they are in search of help.
October 16, 2011 at 9:01 pm #69227hellbenntKeymasterHi Lynn!
This is the email I’ve sent to those whose personal email addresses I have:Hi Mamas!I’m going to post this on facebook [Lynn: if you’re on facebook, PM me and we can be ‘friends’- I understand if you don’t want to, or, if you don’t even ‘do’ facebook, lol!], but the site is giving me a hard time right now, so I thought I’d email everyone for now…if any of you are not on the facebook group & would like to be, please let me know & I’ll pass your info to whomever started it (sorry I can’t remember who did!)Dr. Philips needs our support/help- no more funding from U of Missouri to sell bufferbabies/caracream!!If you’d like to help by writing a letter how bufferbabies/caracream/zegerid/ Dr. Philips helped you/your lo, then please email Kira at& let her know. She’s working w/ Dr. Philips & can tell you exactly what it is that you can do! Also, could you [PM me] cc me (if you want to) when you email her? I’d like to keep track of what’s going on, if I can. Thanks! The U of Missouri is shutting down Reflux Solutions- not sure if this means ‘just’ no more selling/creating bufferbabies/caracream or if it also means no more research!I wish we could buy it or fund it or do SOMETHING!Thanks!~lauraOctober 16, 2011 at 10:20 pm #69228AnonymousInactiveI still have my original email address from this site. Colton is still on Zegerid packets but doing really well with it. Colton is 6 now and is about to undergo a series of test to see if he has any brain injuries. The reason for this is because Colton has been behind in his milestones all his life and I did have a bad delivery where we lost his heartbeat a whole bunch of times.Colton has severe anxiety and panic attacks. But all in all he is the most loving little boy and I am so proud to be his mom. I can’t imagine what I would have done without Dr. Phillips. Dr. Phillips contacted my son’s doctor and convinced him to put Colton on a high dose of Zegerid. What a difference it made in our lives. We only used bufferbabies for one month so I am not sure how I can help. Colton was a part of one of their studies that is how we were able to get bufferbabies. Let me know what I can do to help and I will try.
KathleenOctober 17, 2011 at 12:30 am #69229AnonymousInactiveLaura I sent you a PM!
Kathleen~ Dr. Phillips also contacted my ped and so far Zegerid is STILL the only med that has worked to keep Kayleigh’s reflux under control. Interesting Kayleigh also has anxiety issues and panic attacks but lately those have diminished. I pray you get some answers for Colton and some peace in the tests.October 17, 2011 at 2:21 pm #69231AnonymousInactiveLynn when did you notice that Kayleigh’s panic attacks started to diminish? Did she do anything like pick at her fingers? Colton’s fingers are sore from him picking at them until they bleed. I am praying that Colton’s start going away. Any advice would be great. Thanks for the prayers we sure can use them.
