I ask this b/c Cooper still manages to get his legs out of the crib even with the bumpers on so I wonder if I should just take them out. They are the breathable bumpers and are velcro so he sometimes even gets them off if he is really rowdy in his sleep.
I voted I haven’t taken it out, but Nikki is only 7 months. I have this breathable crib shield and it works really well. The fabric goes all the way from the bottom of the rails to the top. On the 2 long rails, the shield goes up over the top of the rail to protect it from chewing. I have to confess that he sometimes gets it off, but I got a tip from a friend to zip tie the thing to the crib so I am trying that this weekend.
I voted 0-3 months, but we actually never had them in. It was just the closest choice to that!
With Kaelyn, the mattress was elevated, so the bumpers didn’t fit correctly. Since we didn’t use them for Kaelyn, we never thought to use them for Alex.
