So the pedi GI has wants ME to try taking some meds to help Ryder. I am taking Creon. Has anyone else taken this to help your LO while nursing? Did it work?

I don’t know what creon is. I have heard of mamas taking digestive enzymes, though, if that is what creon is…I would post over at the yahoo breastfeeding reflux board as well (& report back here as I am curious). sounds like your ped Gi is very pro breastfeeding,

Yup it’s for digestive enzymes….. I am going to go over to yahoo 🙂

wanted to add that our GI dr is AWESOME! He is actually married to my OB! She nursed her twins for 3 years so he is great and VERY understanding

I saw your post over on the breasfeeding board too. I haven’t heard of it, but if it seems to help let me know.

By the way that is awesome that you are breastfeeding your twins. It is also amazing to me that your gi is breastfeeding friendly. The gi I took Justice to told me I needed to stop breastfeeding. I fired him! I know better this time around.

Oh sorry Ryder is not a twin is he? Still I think any mom that breastfeeds a reflux baby deserves . It is not easy, but so worth it.

I am bfing a 7.5 month old and if there is something out there I can take to make his spitups lessen or stop I will do it. We don’t to resort to reglan – it only a last resort. Please give me more info on this as I will try ANYTHING!!!!

i dont breastfeed but i do know that digestive enzymes should help a lot. my mom is a holistic nutritionist and got me digestive enzymes for kids for my son, but they can only be mixed in juice and he wont drink juice.. but she told me that she has learned about how good they are for people who have a hard time digesting different protiens and lactose and whatever else, a lot of it has to do with them lacking the enzyme for it… which a lot of relfux babies do have those problems.

Can you please post what the digestive enzyme is that you can mix in juice? I would like to check it out. Thanks.
