What the heck…start a post. Just make the title pretty obvious so people who don’t want to look don’t have to…come on, really which mum or dad out there who posts onto this forum isn’t facscinated by poooooooo

BTW…I still see the occasional mucousy nappy with Alana (the girl poos like 5 times a day so once a week would be considered occasional). But nothing diaper after diaper so I don’t bother myself much about it.

Hey Tina,

Ben’s poos were crazy like your little ones. He seemed to outgrow it though. At around 4 months, they started getting more stabilized, but, before then, I would often see: runny, honey mustard poos, regular breastfeed baby poos with white seeds and all, green poos, mucous, and sometimes blackish brown specks too.. almost looked like partially digested raisins?? Anyway, as he got older, the poos got more normal, so I think it WAS a digestive thing.

He had almost a month of stringy green poo, but that was while he had RSV and a round of antibiotics, so that probably contributed there.

I can see how maybe a breastfed baby’s poo would change from diaper to diaper according to what mom had eaten. I guess I’m just perplexed that he has been on the same formula and had the same poo, and now back to the yellow snot all of a sudden.

Anyway, sorry to beat this subject to a poop- I mean pulp!
