Like Laura suggested, we were trying to start out with the one with the least sugar. So, we started out by giving her regular soy milk. She wanted nothing to do with it, but we kept trying. Still nothing. So we switched to chocolate soy milk (the kind that we use has no dairy in it). She would sip from it every now and then, but still not really interested. I tasted it, and the chocolate flavor was pretty strong. We ended up doing half chocolate/half vanilla. It took a few tries, but now she loves it. After a couple of weeks of that, we’ve now started doing half chocolate/half regular. She doesn’t even seem to notice the difference. The plan is to try to gradually increase the amount of regular and decrease the chocolate. I’m not sure that we’ll be able to totally eliminate the chocolate, but hopefully, we’ll get close.
