I was considering buying this for my DD. Has anyone used one? How well did it work for your LO? My DD is currently being proped up w/a generic wedge & towels already, but she needs something more. I’ve looked at the Tucker wedge before but I think the AR pillow would work better for Averi. There’s just a slight difference in how the baby lays on it. So, if anyone has had any experience w/it I’d appreciate some feedback!

But lately she is only wanting to sleep on her belly so we’re not using the pillow anymore (which kind of stinks b/c I had got extra accessories too). But I really did like it. Cheaper than the Tucker, I liked how you can buy extra harness, covers, harness sizes, etc. The velcro parts weren’t too loud, which is what I was afraid of that b/c she gets up to eat a lot at night. It is completely portable so good to take when you go to see friends/family. She didn’t mind using it at all. In fact she was probably 4 months old before she started using it. I was afraid she might not like it, but we had no problems at all. But, like I said, we didn’t get to use it long b/c she wants to be on her belly now.
Please let me know if you have any other questions!August 26, 2008 at 12:32 pm #55744AnonymousInactiveI was wondering about the velcro parts. Glad to hear they’re not too loud. Did it seem like it would be a problem for a baby who moves a little more? Averi is just now 7months old, but can be a mover. That’s one of the biggest reasons we were looking for a diff. wedge. CUZ when she first gets layed down she tends to squirm a bit and w/our “make shift” wedge her head will “fall” over the edge (that’s why we have towels there). I think I’ll be getting it in the next few days or so. We’re currently seeing if we can get it through our ins., but if not I’ll just order it. Do you suggest buying extra covers? Anything else extra I should consider buying? Thanks!

We are looking for something and this looks to be the obvious choice. Also, is this pillow sold in stores anywhere or just via the Internet?
March 8, 2009 at 7:07 pm #61494AnonymousInactiveHi There!
The AR pillow didn’t work well for us. TBH, once it arrived in the mail and I tried it out w/our DD I quickly realized that she was too old for it. Had we bought it early on, it probably would be a different story. It just didn’t work well for us. Another product to consider is http://www.napnanny.com/the_napnanny.html . I wish this was available when my DD was at her worst. This really looks like a great product, but I can’t speak from experience.Good Luck! oh, I believe it’s only sold online.March 13, 2009 at 5:41 pm #61608AnonymousInactiveWell, i had the Ar pillow and Kendra kept sliding to the side.
The one that worked well for us was the Tucker sling. The napnanny is a new product and it looks promising.good luck in your search. -
