any good in pursueing this?

thanks.. maybe it is giving him cramps. we are at the dosage that he was last at, but he only did it for a week…. soo i know i should wait 2 weeks before anything else. but, i did put a call into my ped.. well actually i could only get to the nurse.. and told her how his sleeping is..and would like to look into other possibilitys besides reflux.. and she said she would let him know. i did talk to the nurse at the GI’s office last weeks..she is the one who told me to give the prevacid a try again for 2 weeks this time..and she told me to contact my ped. but after we see if the prevacid works. But i couldnt wait! i mean whats the harm in trying to get in other places for other tests as well?? or atleast set up a plan.. i need to get this ball on the road! 😉

Oh I am the same way…I hated the two weeks wait. But I agree with Lori…one change at a time. I learned this so the hard way, and by the time Brianna was a year, I was finally making changes one at a time. The pepcid complete is OTC, but I guess it works kind of like gaviscon/mylanta and pepcid in one. Brianna did really well with this. I e-mailed Dr. Phillips to get a dose, and then I checked with my ped GI to make sure he was Ok with it. My GI actually told me that the dose I had Brianna on was low, so that was good. Give it a week, if not I would try the pepcid, but I would also look into other things.
