We’re back after a week long visit with family in Ohio for the holidays. We had a great time. SOOOOO much better than last year’s Christmas. I wince just thinking about that time. ICK!

So, we are making the leap and finally dropping all but one dose of Ben’s Zegerid. He is down to 16mgs at bedtime. Today is the first day, and, of course, he had the hiccups all morning, but, otherwise he seems to be doing just great. Keep your fingers crossed for us. I am really hoping that we are nearing the end of this journey, and a period of no colds/infections/teething (yea, right!) would be good so we can get a clear picture of where his reflux is at this point.

Hey Naomi,

Good Luck.. Hope the one dosing goes great! And soon he is ready for none! 😉 Just wanted to remind you of the rebound effect from cutting out a dosing… and maybe you might want to give mylanta or something of that sort in the day and wean down from that slowly for a couple days or so? I hope he does well!!!!! prayers and thoughts~ Happy New Year!

Congrats and good luck!

Ashlynn just had a check up at her GI Dr and she wants us to cut her Nexium dose down to just at night also. Hope everythng goes good for you and me both. If she does ok for 2 weeks with one dose then she said try and stop it all together
