Alternate Vaccine Schedule?

I have done a lot of research and it appears that vaccines causes reflux to be worse for a period of time. My baby’s reflux is still so bad that she has apnea and sandifer’s episodes.

Has anyone tried and alternate vaccine schedule? Was this hard to work out with your doctor?

I will say to you that Vaccines are a very touchy subject. We did not see any reflux flares with any of our vaccines, we never had any fever or any real adverse reactions from vaccines, but many babies have had problems and what most of the moms have done is up the meds and give tylenol for several days afterwards. I am very open with my ped about my concerns with vaccines and she is always open and honest with how she feels and has always been open to holding off when I asked. (we are up to date with our vaccines even with some alterations in the normal schedule) I would say just feel out your ped, have your plan that you want to follow and see if they are open. Your child does not have to get the vaccines if you are not comfortable (at least that is the perception I get from my ped) You have to do what you feel most comfortable with no matter what anyone else tells you.

our ped is ok with pushing off as long as we plan on eventually catching them up…

most just dont go for it if u plan on not getting them…
