Hi everyone! We’ve graduated from reflux but now and then I come across something to share with others who are still fighting it. I found this chart online and it is basically based on the idea that the body’s acidity level is a reflection of health and highly acidic environments are a sign of a problem which might be as simple as dietary and allergy issues…we’ll that’s my ten cent explanation! Here’s the chart-I pasted it in my word doc and somehow lost the link but you could probably search and find it easy. There are two charts-we like the color block one you’ll find at the end of the posting. Good luck to all you moms and dads.

Most grains are acid-forming, except millet and buckwheat, which are considered to be alkaline. Sprouted seeds and grains become more alkaline in the process of sprouting.
All vegetable and fruit juices are highly alkaline. The most alkali-forming juices are: fig juice, green juices of all green vegetables and tops, carrots, beet, celery, pineapple and citrus juices. Vegetable broth ( HERE ) is an extremely alkalizing drink.
