This site has helped me immensely. When everyone thought I was crazy you guys helped me. Thank you!

My daughter is now 26 months. She’s weaned off Prevacid completely and is still on a maintenance of Zantac or else she stops eating. But, we are getting there. She was once on 15 mg of Prevacid and a decent dose of Zantac 3x a day. Now she’s on a low Zantac dose twice a day. She’s growing and happy and she eats and drinks with no issues. That was always my main concern.

You all gave me access to so much information so I could arm myself with knowledge before speaking to the doctors. You helped me identify Sandifer’s Syndrome so I could bring it up. You made me a stronger advocate, and I will always be grateful for this forum. Thank you all so much!

That is great news! Did she struggle with solids too??? Eating has always been an issue for my now 19 month old. 🙁

Theda, she only struggled with solids when we were weaning her meds too quickly. She has always struggled with milk, though. Hang in there, and good luck!
