Well, I called and asked for the results, NEGATIVE ~BUT~ They only had me bring ONE sample. So, as I’ve heard from many of you, it doesn’t always show up in the first sample. So, I had to ask the Ped. if I could do more samples so we could see if it’ll show up in a different sample. I’m so frustrated.
We pick up the Elecare today. I hope this helps her. I also hope it’s not in vain. That’s why I want so badly for a sample to come back positive.
Did anyone switch their baby to Neocate/Elecare even with NEGATIVE blood in stool results? Did it still help? I mean I guess it would, right?! Because it’s repairing the damage from the reflux not necessarily b/c of allergies.
I just feel like I had put the pieces together and now I’m not so sure. Also, my DD got her first tooth on Sat. So, I figured some of her discomforts was due to teething. Which I knew she had been teething for a few weeks now. Could that have been why she wasn’t sleeping at all?
Sometimes I feel like a first-time Mom all over again. I second guess myself constantly.
