You really should try out a new ped! That dr sounds ignorant and well very unconcerned when there is a problem. I hope you find a great ped

Natalia~ I interviewed my ped prior to Kayleigh’s birth. I came armed with a list of questions. I’m sure you could call around and ask if they do free consultations. Then I would make a list of what your preferences are, medications and food intolerances. Then ask how they feel about Trace’s current treatment plan if they would support it or not.

Regarding the need for overides for the prevacid… Can the nurse do that? This way you won’t have to work closely with the Dr just the nurse. Or can you write the letters and have the Dr just sign them? It stinks to be put in this type of situation.

Have you ever thought about video taping Trace’s reactions? Then you can show the Dr just exactly what you are talking about, proof that you aren’t exaggerating? Just a few thoughts. Good Luck
