I’m so sorry to hear about Brian’s stomach flu. And boy would I be mad at my friend for not telling me her child was sick.
Next time, maybe ask, “Is anybody sick?” because some people don’t think to mention these things. I’ve learned after three kids to ask first because I’ve had this happen to me too many times. Now my friends know how “neurotic” I am and when they invite me over they preface their invitation with, “we’re all healthy here.”
Hopefully Brian will recover quickly and it won’t take weeks or months for him to eat well again. Sometimes our babies surprise us.
Myles was sick last week and I thought, here we go, it will be at least a week or two before he feels better, but he snapped out of it in only a few days. I hope Brian is better soon, too.
