Hey there

i know that you were looking for frozen fish filets… do you have a whole foods near you? I went there the other day and looked and they have some whole foods brand filets that look really good. I have not tried them yet but will soon.

I have to run to reg supermarket later – will double check although did not see any around

Thais – Thank you for the information, the closest whole food is 45 minute drive from my house, but a new one will open soon around here. Can parasite’s egg inside frozen fish cause any danger to our health? I bought some fresh filet salmon several times and have seen any parasite so far.

i think fresh fish should be ok… just a precaution if you can afford it i guess?? Glad the whole foods will be opening… i love that place

I’ve offered both my kids fresh fish. As long as it’s fresh and is well cooked I thought it was okay. As for frozen fish, my older daughter loves Janes genuine scottish haddock…it’s a breaded fish though- tastes almost like chicken nuggets more than fish. She’ll eat two whole filets.
