I reviewed the extensive list of specialist and was hoping someone would have some recent insight in NJ. The one specialist listed on here as in Hackensack, NJ is up in NY now.

how was that experience?

how is your baby doing?

PLEASE ANSWER, as I’m going through & deleting inactive members – (sounds mean, but you have no idea what kind of spam goes on here on a daily basis– I do this as volunteer work…)

My son has been doing terribly on Zantac which has been doing nothing. Went to one ped gi this week, who I had no problem getting in with. He told me to stop the medicine and basically just deal with it. He said that he believes and most in his field would agree that the mess are not really effective and are prescribed more to make parents happy. Of course during the visit my son was an angel.

I also made a different appointment with a recommended ped GI’s which is a month out. Hopefully that visit on May 10 will be a bit more successfully. Especially since my son will be four months at that point and I hear that is around when reflux peaks.

well, I can’ttell you to, but you could try giving prilosec or prevacid or zegerid on your own…

also, you can figure out highest dose of zantac – my guess is that the dose isn’t a proper one…
