Hi, I’m new to this, I have an 8 week old baby, she fairly regularly coughs after feeding (breastfeeding) and on and off has brought up milk, which seems to be getting worse but I haven’t really considered it a problem till now.
She had her first lot of Jabs today and has been very sleepy but at 2am she woke with a terrible cry, seemed to have brought up some milk (wet patch next to her head in her basket) and when I picked her up started coughing then seemed to be choking and struggling to catch her breath. She seemed in pain with a terrible cry and wriggling her whole body. This happened twice and frightened the life out of me.
I tried to calm her, holding and stroking her then all a sudden she just fell asleep on me, that’s where she is now, still asleep, I’m too worried to put her back down in her basket and she has now slept past her 3am feed.
Does this sound like a reflux issue? Any advice of info greatfully received.
