Send me a PM if you order! I’m curious about keeping track!
I am NOT selling anything! We used caracream w/ our baby & it was beyond amazing, the difference it made, regarding HOW to get the meds into an infant/toddler…No timing around meals! A liquid that is STABLE and can be given at any time!
The backstory/history:
Once upon a time, there was a research team at the University of Missouri who, through their research, found and then created, and, later, even sold PRODUCTS to make PPIs stable and easy to deliver in a liquid form to babies with no timing around meals.
This team first had a webiste called http://www.chocobase.com and then, as the team developed, eventually it had it’s own website and was called Marci-Kids
The University decided not to continue funding, so the manufacture & selling of the products was taken private; Infant-Acid-Reflux-Solutions.com was formed, for the sole purpose of continuing to provide products and solutions to Mom’s (and Dad’s). The research into acid reflux in infants continues to be done at the University. The Drs at the University are still there…& still publishing…
Using the products (caracream, chocobase and then, later on: bufferbabies, caracream z, caracream max) did not require timing the meds around meals! I’ve been on this board NINE YEARS NOW and there have been nothing but RAVE REVIEWS!! Then, the U of Missouri cut the research team’s funding to create & sell the products. The University said they were not in the business of creating & selling- they were for RESEARCH. The products were then no longer available.
Parents began to FREAK OUT and go rogue, whipping up batches of OTC zegerid (also created by the very same research team and then sold to a drug company- zegerid uses the drug omprazole, the drug in prilosec) to make their OWN product!

Product is now available and being distributed by a group that is willing to take on the expense and operations of the following products (this is not Dr. Philips. he still works for the U of Missouri).
Tummy Care Z – use this with zegerid
[
Tummy Care Max use this with either prilosec or prevacid (or nexium capsules, not packets). has calcium bicarb (has corn syrup solids). This has been reported to be vanilla mint flavor….
Belly Buffers use this with either prilosec or prevacid (or nexium capsules, not packets). does not have corn syrup or coconut oil.
Ingredients: Sodium bicarb, calcium carbonate, calcium phosphate, cane sugar, Magnesium hydroxide, Splenda, xanthan gum.
Reported to be banana flavored.
The biggest difference between the TCM (Tummy Care Max) and BB (Belly Buffers) is: calcium bicarb
BB has sodium bicarb<They work in essentially the same way, but Sod Bicarb can cause excess gas issues in LOs (little ones) that are sensitive to it.
You can purchase these products at:http://www.infant-acid-reflux-solutions.com/contact-us.html

Q: Our first kit of TCM came today.
Is it normal for it to turn pinkish after a few hours in the fridge?
A: It all depend what med you use.
OTC omep capsules may turn pinkish purple
RX omep capsules may be very white
Prevacid may turn yellow.
Omep tablets may turn pink
Omep beads may turn purplish

Hey, I have to bring something up. A reporter emailed me today. She was throwing out some accusations about Dr. Phillips being associated with the site infant-acid-reflux-solutions.com and other disturbing accusations. She stated that it is the word being spread on forums that he is part of the site and the organization. He is not and it’s important that everyone know that. He has no affiliation. He is not an owner and he is not promoting the site.
The following information is needed when ordering:

hellbennt 2012-12-13 18:46:13 February 21, 2012 at 8:40 pm #69903hellbenntKeymasterIt gives me great pleasure to announce that we’ve posted our site back up!http://www.infant-acid-reflux-solutions.com/index.htmlYes it is, and I hope it always will be, a work in progress. But I feel pretty confident that what we have posted will address your and our immediate needs.I’ve asked a few of you to review the site and give me feed back and I have gotten some very important suggestions for editing and some excellent ideas on what to do in the future. They are on the list and I know as we grow we’ll be adding information, tools and social media to the site. But for now I urge you all to give me some constructive advise on the pages you see now.Any typo’s?Any information that you feel I am missing that is relative to the information on those pages posted?Although there will be more graphics, what do you think of the site overall? The look and feel? How does the order form look? Am I missing any PPI or product information?I also need to announce that the prices did go up.I spent quite a bit of time analyzing the costs associated with making and distributing this product and I am sorry to say that the prices were way off and upside down. I want you all to know that I was as conservative as I could be regarding the price increases. The biggest jump is in the starter kit. This has the highest cost to compose. I tried to offset the increase by adding more product to the kit. Which in the long run most of you were ordering extra anyway. So the intro kit now has 5 packs of product rather then 2 packs. That is, for the most part, a whole months supply.I have also changed the way we handle invoicing and payment. Once I receive the order, I will prepare your invoice and email it to you. In the email will be an attached invoice for you to review to make sure the order is correct. The shipping and handling cost will be included as well. In addition, I have noted the account to submit payment to via paypal. If the order is correct all you need to do is submit payment. If it isn’t correct, email me prior to submitting payment so I can adjust the order.Once I receive the payment confirmation from paypal I will pack the order, ship it UPS and UPS will email you with the tracking number. From that point on you will be able to find your package anytime during the shipping process and they will email you when it ships, when it is delivered, and regarding any issues during the shipping process if there are any.I hope that makes you all happy. I know it will be a great addition to the level of service we provide you.As I write this email, I am thinking I should note on the site the following disclaimer. If we don’t receive payment within 10 days of emailing you the invoice, your invoice will be voided without notification. If your invoice is over 10 days old please do not submit payment. You’ll have to resubmit the order. One of the most important additions to this site is “Your Stories”.This product has done a lot for many of you and those stories have touched me heart. It is ultimately why I started this project and this is a way I’d like to honor all of you all as well for all that you’ve gone through as we progress through our initial stages. I also think it’s very important to let others know about your experiences. Infant acid reflux has impacted so many baby’s out that and I’m certain there are many that still are unaware of what to do.So I urge you to take the time to post your stories at the above link.Your story will become a full page on this site.I review every story and I will be happy to keep them anonymous if you’d like. In fact the submission page does not require you to tell me or anyone else who you are. That is up to you. You can add pictures if you’d like but again, that is optional.Take you time to review the site. Let me know what you think. To all of you out there, THANK YOU SO MUCH. You have all sent your little notes of encouragement and support and that humbles me in a way you will never know. After all that you have gone through. You all are so great and amazing and although I don’t know all of you personally I feel so lucky to be a part of this project.Phoenix International Resources~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~MIXING INSTRUCTIONSTCM:
Prevacid 2 mg/ ml-19 capsules
Prevacid 3 mg/ml-29 capsules
Omeprazole/Prilosec/Nexium 2 mg/ml-14 tablets OR capsules
Omeprazole/Prilosec/Nexium-3 mg/ml-21 tablets OR capsules
If using tablets, cut in half using a pill cutter or knife. **Pulverize beads/tablets using a coffee grinder. This is not 100% necessary but will allow the beads/tablets to dissolve faster** Put tablets or beads (or ground bead/tablet powder) into a container (if ordered intro kit this will be included). Using a funnel, Add buffer packet to container (small packet). Add 100 ml of water. Shake like crazy and put into the fridge. Wait for tablets or capsules to dissolve. Once dissolved, add the TCM packet (large packet). Shake, shake, shake! It’s ready to use. Shake each time before dispensing. Store in fridge at ALL times. Solution is stable in the fridge for 28 days.
BB:
Prevacid 2 mg/ml-23 capsules
Prevacid 3 mg/ml-34 capsules
Omeprazole/Prilosec/Nexium 2 mg/ml-17 tablets/capsules
Omeprazole/Prilosec/Nexium 3 mg/ml-26 tablets/capsules
Again, if using tablets, cut them in half. Using a funnel pour contents of large packet into Bottle A, and contents of small packet into Bottle B (if ordered Intro Kit, these bottles will be included). Add 58 ml of water to Bottle A. Cap and shake. Add tablets or capsules into Bottle B. Add 40 ml of water to Bottle B. Shake, shake, shake until everything looks mixed together. Add another 40 ml of water to Bottle B, and again shake like crazy. Put both bottles in the fridge for at least 3 hrs. Shakes the bottles once per hour to help dissolve the tablets/beads. When dispensing, swirl each bottle without getting bubble in the suspensions. With a larger syringe ( I use the 10 ml ones), draw half of the desired volume from Bottle A and do the same with Bottle B using the same syringe. Slightly shake the dosing syringe so both suspensions mix together. Now you’re ready to dose! Store in fridge at all times. Solution is stable in fridge for 28 days.

March 5, 2012 at 7:56 am #70000hellbenntKeymasterHello Ladies and Gentleman,
Firstly I want to thank all of you for being so supportive and spreading the word about what we have been doing and for extending your gratitude and thanks. It certainly isn’t necessary but it is great appreciated. Especially knowing that you all have been through so much.Secondly regarding the newspaper article. It is absolutely unimportant to me nor will it effect us moving forward. Dr. Phillips and the Univercity has and had many politically issues to deal with regarding the Marci-kids site and I am sorry for that. But Dr. Phillips is not a part of this company and he is not going to suffer any repercussions due to that article or interfere with Infant-acid-reflux-solutions.com distributing product. It is a legally run and operated company distributing product under a 100% legal manner that is 100% within the FDA requirements.Lastly, I have had a couple of calls and emails regarding the fear we are not supplying product anymore. That could not be farther from the truth. There is no way I am going to let you all down now. Yes, the site is down. We were having technical difficulties and I felt it was becoming more of a problem when the intention was to have information for you all to make the ordering process more simple. I do apologize for not having our best foot forward but I felt such a sense of urgency to get you all product ASAP.I am currently manufacturing more product because we ran out so quickly. I am “hoping” for a mid-March ship date. You do not need the site to be up to order. You can order through me. Here are the details for ordering if you have not ordered product before. If you have then I do not need your information again. I just need you to tell me what you want and I will ship it as soon as the product is available. Also, VERY IMPORTANT! If you send me an email and you don’t get a reply of some sort, even if it is just an “I got it” or “Thank you”, then I did not get your email. I literally respond in some way to every email I get so you know I have it.Here are the details. Spread the word. For the intro kit (which you may not need if you have one from us or if you had one from BufferBabies or CareCream) is everything you need to mix the product plus two packets of product.Product is being produced now, as we ran out of our first run almost immediately. If you place your order now I will have it sent out automatically when we finalize production. For payment, I will send the order and you can submit payment on the invoice included in the shipment, at your leisure. If you haven an outstanding balance we will need to take care of that balance prior to shipment of additional product.I need the following information if you want to order:First Name:Last Name:E-mail Address:Street Address:City:State/Prov:Zip/Postal Code:Home Phone:Name of Child:Date of Birth of Child:Childs weight in lbs:Name of PPI you are using? (e.g.: Prevacid, Prilosec, omeprazole, etc):Dose amount of product currently using?:Dosage Form you are using? Be specific. Are they Tabs, Caps Enteric coated beads:What product would you like to order? All products are 45grms:How many packets?:Any additional notes:Please let me know if you have any questions and please go to: http://www.infant-acid-reflux-solutions.com to sign up for the RSS feed. The site is down now but when it goes live, you will be notified automatically. +Again, I want to thank you all for the very kind and supportive calls and emails today. My only regret is that you had one moment out of your day that caused you great concern.hellbennt2012-12-13 18:01:20
March 15, 2012 at 12:44 pm #70068hellbenntKeymasterGood Morning!
I know you are all awaiting product. I am as well. Unfortunately the manufacturing process is never an easy one nor is it ever predictable. We are working on it. Believe me we understand how important it is to get you all product and although I don’t have an answer yet I am trying to come up with a solution to help on a temporary basis until we complete manufacturing. I know this is a difficult request but please be patient. I am working as best I can to find a solution.Payments for product sent. Those of you who went out of their way to pay us promptly I thank you so much! Funds, no matter how small keep us going and keep us in business. I have, believe it or not, a TON of payments that have not been received. I took pleasure in sending out product to some, knowing they were in need, and hoping that I would get paid in good faith. If you have received product and have not paid for it, please submit payment. If you have received product and you don’t have an invoice, please email me here and I will send it to you again. Most importantly, I am being told that many of you are contacting Dr. Phillips directly regarding, this company, our products, information about dosing etc. I’ve made this statement several times and I am not sure why it is not clear. Dr. Phillips is NOT associated with this company. He is not able nor is he in a position to answer questions about this company or our products. Those of you contacting him are only creating a possible problem for him and that upsets me a great deal. I am not sure how much more clear I need to be on this matter.I’ve asked you to please direct any and ALL questions regarding our product to:If you have any questions regarding orders, shipping, payments, etc, please contact me at:I try to reply within 24 hours. So does the support team.Thank you for working with us and for your understanding and cooperation.=

April 1, 2012 at 10:29 pm #70171AnonymousInactiveWell I emailed Kira a few weeks ago & she told me that the support team would be in touch with me but I never heard anything. I just sent her another email today.
One thing I do know is that the Tummy Care Max does not have sodium bicarbonate in it & that is what will cause gas. So that would be good if your having gas issues. I will post any new info I find out.jackie2252012-04-01 22:30:35
April 3, 2012 at 2:42 pm #70178AnonymousInactiveOkay so I heard from the support team today & they are suggessting Bellybuffers with Priolsec but Kira had suggested Tummycare max because of the reason I stated in previous post. They are’nt giving me an explanation of the differences though. I’m guessing they are very busy.
Does anyone know what the difference is with these products? Also how much a packet will last me? Another question I don’t understand is what you all tell your doctors. Do you ask the Dr if you can use it or just do it yourself?
Any help is greatly appreciated because the sooner I get this figured out the sooner I can order.
April 3, 2012 at 8:10 pm #70183hellbenntKeymasterI would get the dr on board for the MEDICINE and not tell about the DELIVERY of the meds…if, after it’s working for a while, you might feel like mentioning it by saying something along the lines of “I found a great way to get the meds into my baby & it’s been working so well!”
I’m condensing things herejackie then wrote:
jackie225 wrote:
I’m not sure I understand what you mean because I would have to use Prilosec otc but I didn’t think that many Drs allowed us to give otc reflux meds. Is that what you meant though? Get Dr on board with the Prilosec otc? Do they make a rx form of prilosec?I responded:yes there’s a rx prilosec. get dr on board w/ giving a PPI (prilosec, prevacid, nexium, protonix) to start. otherwise (disclaimer! I am not a medical professional! I am not telling you what to do!) you can just go ahead and medicate your child. if I (and that’s ME) were to do this, I’d start at the lower end of dosing, see how it goes, go to highest dosing and then back down…jackie225 wrote:
Yes hun he’s already on Prevacid solutabs they worked really good for like the first week (but did get bad gas/stomach cramps)but then stopped working. I understand your not a Dr(even though I think some Mom’s on here probably know more about infant reflux than some medical professionals) but you do have to put that out there just to cover yourself. I kind of take everything I’ve read & my Lo’s personal experiences plus Drs recommendations & then decide what I should do.I was just curious how other Mom’s went about getting Docs on board with all of this. When I reference things I’ve read online I commonly get the response “You can’t believe everything you read online”.
Anyway you do have to use otc meds with bellybuffers products & how do I get my Dr to understand why I want to give otc meds? Does this make sense?

April 4, 2012 at 3:10 pm #70193hellbenntKeymasteryou can use RX capsules. just tell dr you want to give the capsules. you can say you will open them up and wash the beads down yourself.
which, you actually CAN do, by the way…get capsules & not deal w/ the products. but the products make it so that you can give the meds at any time. if you just give the beads (the inside of the capsule), you need to give on an empty stomach – you give the beads w/ some apple sauce or pedialyte – and then you give a ‘meal’ 30 minutes later.so: you can ask for a rx for capsules & then buy the product and then mix everything yourself to make a stable solution that you can give at any timeApril 12, 2012 at 8:36 pm #70245hellbenntKeymasterHi Laura,
I know you’ve been anxious to get the site up and/or instructions for mixing and I hope the wait was worth it.I’ve posted the site back up. We are at the beginning stages and although I realize there is much to be added, I feel comfortable with what is up for now to address the needs of the parents who need to order, get mixing instructions and have general questions about product.I have several pages I’d like to point out to you.1. The ordering page:Here is where parents can submit orders.2. If they have questions prior to ordering or just general questions please send a CONTACT US inquiry here:3. And the one you’ve been so anxious to see… The mixing instructions page. Here, everyone can click on the appropriate links and save or download or come back to review their mixing instructions as needed. This site is a work in progress and although I am excited to hear ideas I will only be able to react to them as needed until we get more automated.I am working on getting more details and information up on a regular basis. Thanks!

April 14, 2012 at 6:08 am #70252AnonymousInactiveIt looks as though you can use any PPI even solutabs. I’m just bringing this to attention because from what I heard before you couldn’t use those.
Although my plan is to still get my RX solutabs filled but use OTC capsules with Tummycare Max because just in case I ever need to I’ll have the solutabs on hand. I’ve always been sort of nervous to give the otc without the buffer. Plus my solutabs alone wouldn’t be enough.
I guess this is a nice option though!
April 17, 2012 at 2:01 pm #70271AnonymousInactiveI’m thinking about ordering tummycare max if I can get my GI to give us Nexium capsules instead of the packs. I have been emailing with the support team regarding corn syrup solids in the tummycare max – here is the explanation I received for others who are wondering…
The sweeteners in TummyCare Max consist of corn syrup solids, sucrose (from sugar cane), and some artificial sweeteners such as sucralose. No fructose or fructose type sugars.Corn syrup solids contain dextrose sugar only. Dextrose is the same as glucose, which as you know is blood sugar. Corn Syrup solids contain no fructose and contain no corn protein.Does anyone have any experience with corn syrup solids with a baby who has allergies? My daughter can’t even handle rice in my diet so I get worried about giving her anything new. Thanks!ShannonApril 17, 2012 at 3:26 pm #70272hellbenntKeymastershannon: try eating something with it for a few days and see how she reacts to you eating it? you might want to try that before ordering?
April 17, 2012 at 3:36 pm #70274AnonymousInactiveGreat idea! Thanks!!
August 21, 2012 at 12:15 pm #70822AnonymousInactiveGreat thread!! So I will be using TummyCare Max to help with the delivery of my DS’s PPI once he is prescribed one on the 30th by his GI. I see that we can use RX capsules with TummyCare Max right?! I wanted to use Ompeprazole…can I get that one prescribed?! In capsule form? And then just crush the capsules (not just the beads) exactly like the mixing directions say for the OTC meds? Let me know!! Thanks 🙂
