My daughter Addison has silent reflux and we are still having issues.
The day after coming home from the hospital Adddison turned blue and was rushed to our local hospital. While she was there she had several more events while we where there and her stats kept dropping so they flew her to childrens hospital because the could not figure out what was wrong with her. After being at children’s for three days they ran every test they could have on her and then one of her doctorsfinely thought of reflux. They did a milk study on her and she had 37 severe refluxes in one hour and 10 minor ones. We where put on 1 ml of Prevacid twice a day at 3 mg. After being put on meds the blue spells stopped. She know is on 1.5 ml and 3mg twice a day. This still is not working for us. She has a hard time eating and takes forever to finish a bottle.Aldo she is extremely fussy through the day. Is this normal . We went back and seen a gi specialist at childrens and she was no help. She said there was nothing else we could do in less she stared loosing wight or failure to thrive. I just want to know if you think we are on the right track here. I know my baby is still in pain. Do I need to ask for a second opinion.
