they will look for inflammation, thrush, eosinophils and anything else that might be out of order. the doc may come out and say everything looked fine—but he really can’t see anything—it is what they see on the microscopic level that tells them what is really going on. they should also take biopsies while they are down there—i guess they have to, that’s how they can look at things on a microscopic level.
our ped gi actually let me stay in and watch while he did a scope on one of my daughters–hea had me stand right next to him and hold on to her hands to keep her from putting them up to her face—talk about a wrestling match!!! she was out enough and didn’t remember a thing even though she kept wanting to put her hand up to her face.
