i hear alot of you talk about MARCI-kids, i cannot seem to find any info or even a website for this team of ppl who come up with such high high doses for babies…..all i get when i type in marci kids is links to forums like this one, ive also found this site which is VERY interesting and ive posted the link below

seems alot of people are giving props to marci kids, well where are they and why dont they have a site?

They are not fake. You don’t have to believe me or anyone else. You are free to do your research. I have been on this board for eight years and I have seen them (marci-kids) come and go. When I first found this board there was http://www.chocobase.com . Then, the marci-kids site formed. Now it’s gone. It may or may not come back. Dr. Philips is a real person. He’s a real PharmD.

He is at the University of Missouri. Feel free to call the University w/ your questions.

All of your letters are being compiled so we can present them to the University of Missouri in an effort to restore the site and providing caracream products to infants with acid reflux. We are not giving up.

Dr. Phillips has been and will remain in communication via his facebook profile to assist in any way he can but unfortunately the site and the support from the University of Missouri has been discontinued. It was the decision that was made due to circumstances beyond Dr. Phillips’ control and has deeply saddened him because he knows how distressing it is for you, the providers of care to infants with chronic acid reflux.

In an effort to put all of you at ease regarding the reasons behind this decision, it was NEVER a request from the FDA to discontinue providing caracream products or any other products sold through refluxsolutions.com. This was purely an act brought on by the University of Missouri and that is the only information that we are permitted to disclose at this time.

All of you that want to remain updated regarding this situation and any potential changes, please continue to send letters and encourage the other parents and providers of care to infants with acid reflux to send letters. They are not falling on blind eyes and your support is very meaningful.

You should try to get a prescription for Zegerid, which is a stable flavored version of what you are now using. You mix it up yourself one packet at a time and once it is mixed up, it is stable in the refrigerator for up to 21 days. It has a peachy/mint flavor that some kids love and other kids…don’t….love. But you should give it a try. Other moms on here that have used it can tell you more. ayam2011-12-09 06:18:48
